UNITED NATIONS BOOKSHOP New York City…

The Diaspora for Africa VOL.2 Benefit Compilation album will shortly be available alongside VOL.1 at the U.N. The bookshop management has requested additional Afrikool products to place in their system. Joining VOL2 in time for the Holiday season will be the limited Edition album titled “Nostalgia 3C1S1V” by Mr. Konda.

Aside from being a Multi Award winning songwriter and a Goodwill Ambassador for the Munich based WATERFOUNDATION, Alain Nkossi Konda serves as "Special Envoy for Germany” for Peace, Development & Malnutrition appointed by Secretary General Dr. Alessandro Manini in support of the permanent United Nations Observer Mission CISRI-ISP. For the fight against global malnutrition & poverty which claims 40.000 Innocent victims daily.

Alain & his production partner Jim launched the Diaspora for Africa series Project in Germany in the Spring of 2006 with the assistance of Beyerdynamic. The successful launch which resulted in the realization of the 1st Benefit Concert of the series which took place at TIVOLI Copenhagen (DENMARK) on November 17th 2006 in a collaboration with local Musical Director and television personality Bob Ricketts.

"…Kool…" Music in film

The original compositions Water's Edge & Matters of the heart by Alain Nkossi Konda are featured as the title tracks in the feature length movie "Une vie brisee" (A life ruined) by Cameroonian Rising Star Film Producer Jude Simenkou. The premiere of the film took place on October 19th in Paris/ FRANCE.

"New dawn... In Africa"

The above named new single featuring various artists who appear on the DFA VOL1 & VOL2 has just been completed. The project was recorded by Stefan Gienger at the legendary Mastermixstudio (Unterföhring/Munich) and Produced by the trio of Alain Nkossi Konda, Zifa & Göran , Its premiere will occur at the opening day concert of 2008 Pan African Film festival which begins on April 18th until the 23rd in Cannes/FRANCE.
The powerful Anthem was composed by Alain Nkossi Konda for the promotion of the above mentioned Benefit compilation & Concert Series called "Afrikool For Africa". Guest musicians from our roster include Jim Savitt on lead guitars & Nicole Collins on backing vocals.
